Zeev is the Founder & Chairman of Giza Venture Capital (Israel) , IVC Research Center, Co-Founder of GPV (Poland) and Swanlaab Venture Factory (Spain).
He established Giza Venture Capital in 1992, following 20 years of experience in Private Equity, Advisory, and Investment Banking. Giza VC focuses on investing in early-stage Israeli technology companies, has raised approximately $600m to date and completed investments into more than 100 companies. Giza V is already a top quartile fund with a net IRR of 27%.
Zeev serves on several GIZA portfolio companies’ Boards and contributes from his vast experience through mentoring and consulting to Venture Capital funds within the industry.
In 1997 Zeev founded IVC Research Center - Israel's leading research and data provider that covers Israel’s start-up, Venture Capital and Private Equity industries. He serves as IVC active Chairman.
Between 2006-2016, Zeev was the Chairman of Technion [the Israeli MIT] Endowment and Pension Funds Supreme Investment Committee. In 2016, he received an Honorary Fellowship for his services. Zeev is also a Co-Founder and Board Member of the Israel Venture Capital Association, known today as IATI.
Prior to founding Giza Venture Capital, Zeev headed Giza Economic Advising Ltd., served as an Executive Vice President at Leumi & Co. - the Investment Banking arm of Bank Leumi and worked for Lehman Brothers’ Corporate Finance department in New York.
Zeev is an Executive Board Member of Tmura, The Israeli Public Service Venture Capital Fund (one of the leading philanthropic organizations in the Venture Capital space), ii 2020, Keshet Eilon; Um El Fachem Museum; and the Association of Israeli Friends of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics and Muslim History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
